About Us
Our Goal
The objective of The Golden Room CMHS is to be a service that will provide mental and emotional health counseling to infants, children, adolescents, young adults and their families. In addition, we assist our clients with assessing those social emotional concerns that may be interfering with their ability to live quality, productive lives. We help our clients by using proven and effective counseling modalities such as Cognitive-behavioral, Solution-focused, Reality Therapy; as well as Talk Therapy for individual and family treatment services.
Our Mission
We understand the greater call and mission and “that the Harvest is Plentiful, but that the Laborers are Few” (Matt.9:37). Therefore, our mission is to provide a safe, professional online platform for the youth in Wayne County and its surrounding areas to heal their emotional trauma and pain. As well as assisting their families in developing positive inner qualities and characteristics in hopes to develop a community full of growth and opportunity. Our primary goal is to Heal the Community, and we are ready to, One Child At A Time.
Empowering Youth Mental Wellness in Wayne County and Beyond
The Golden Room CMHS services understands the critical need for mental wellness within families and communities. There are primarily 1 in 10 youth in the United States who are experiencing depression that is severely impairing their ability to function at school, work, at home with family, or in their social life.
Our ideal potential clients are infants, children, adolescents, and their families between the ages of prenatal- 21 years old within the Wayne County and the larger Michigan State area/s who are interested in receiving professional assistance to enhance their mental wellness.
